Along with three of my tutors from the AA — Valentin Bostjes van Beek, Peter Ferreto, and Ricardo de Ostes — I presented a short overview of the AA School to the staff at the renown Seoul architectural office, Space Group. My topic: the convergence of distributed design sensibilities and networked design and creative platforms in contemporary design cultures, and their related fields of history and theory. Valentin showed his great Crossings project, for a small bridge built with AA students in our Hooke Park estate in Dorset (currently on display in an exhibition up at the Building Centre); Peter gave a great presentation on the project he did working with Herzog & deMouron in Madrid; and Riccardo showed selections of work by Naja deOstos that will be pubished this autumn in their upcoming volume of Pamphlet architecture (New York).
